Welcome to Assemblage Studio L.L.C., a unique, inspiring
shop and workshop environment for people interested in bookmaking,
collage, assemblage, and combining unique items. The shop is full
of one-of-a-kind items along with quality papers, bookmaking supplies,
inks, fabrics, antiques, and other enticing objects to stimulate your
creative spirit! It is also a studio environment so people can
watch and learn. Items will come and go, custom artwork will be
available, new inspiration on a continuing basis, a hands-on
instructive atmosphere will prevail! The altered arts will be
emphasized, providing an expansion into other areas for the
scrapbooking enthusiast in the community. Our goal is to make
sure people are inspired and satisfied with what they see, buy, and
learn here.
Assemblage Studio opened its doors in April of 2006, and is located in
downtown De Pere, a village in the greater area of Green Bay,
Wisconsin. There is a growing interest in the pursuit of the
paper arts in our community, and the goal of Assemblage Studio is to
encourage people to take it to the next level and create their own art
that is enjoyable and fun. We will be pulling from neighboring
communities in Wisconsin, bringing in teachers and artists for
workshops that will spark interest.
The owner, Teresa Ann Gifford, has a background in fiber arts,
painting, collage, bookmaking, and assemblage. A small gallery
section of the shop will feature different artists from time to time
for inspiration. This will be a changing element, intended to
inspire and encourage our customers to try new things.
